Global food and fuel crisis driving up the prices

American President George W.Bush made scathing remarks about India and China for the price increase of food grains and fossil fuels world wide. This is only an attempt to make a pre-emptive move of the blame if any ,about the developed nations of their conspicuous and disproportionate consumption much above the global standards.

This is also to divert the attention from the real issues of Iraq War and the diversion of food grains for conversion into  bio-fuels,in order to conserve their reserves of fossil fuels. Here is an attachment which is funny but relevant to the situation, fairly representing the different nations that represent the global scenario.

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:
“Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food  shortage in the rest of the world?”

The survey was a huge failure!

In Africa they didn’t know what ‘food’ meant,
In India they didn’t know what ‘honest’ meant,
In Europe they   didn’t know what ’shortage’ meant,
In China they didn’t know what  ‘opinion’ meant,
In the Middle East they didn’t know what ’solution’ meant,
In South America they didn’t know what ‘please’ meant,
And in theUSA they didn’t know what ‘the rest of the world’ meant!
